My Heart
Several years ago, God began to take me to a deeper level in my relationship with Him. In that deeper walk and intimacy with God, He began to place a burden on my heart for women to realize their need for a deeper relationship with Him. That burden continues today, and has grown to realize we ALL need a deeper, more intimate relationship with Jesus; man, woman, boy and girl. My heart is to see a hunger and passion birthed in the church for that intimacy with Jesus, and what starts as a spark, develop into a flame that will set the world ablaze until He returns to call us up to meet Him.
In my walk with the Lord, I have also come to realize that many physical needs can be met alongside the spiritual needs. So many in this day have physical needs, and while we are reaching out to the community to meet those physical needs, God will allow us the opportunity to minister to folks where they are. Reaching out to the community through providing physical needs like food, clothing, school supplies, and medical care allows us an opportunity to share the gospel, as well as encourage those who need a hand up.
So in short, my burden is 3 fold…
- Reach the Lost.
- Help others realize their need and hunger for a deeper relationship with Jesus.
- Provide necessities to those who need a hand up, through community outreach, allowing us to share the gospel with the lost and encourage other believers in a difficult situation.
